This section of the King's Road in Cap-Sante is full of centuries old wood and stone houses. Interpretive plaques are set up along the tree-lined street in order to point out houses of particular historical importance.
The King's Road
Le Chemin du Roy (King's Road), which runs from Montreal to Quebec City, was completed in 1737 and is one of the oldest roadways in Canada. It runs along the St. Lawrence River and passes some of Quebec's oldest villages and monuments.
