• A WorldWeb.com Travel Guide to Historic Sites & Interpretive Centres in Charlesbourg, QC, Quebec.
Maison Ephraïm-Bédard, built during the first half of the 19th century, is located southeast of Charlesbourg’s Trait-Carré. It is an example of an average farmhouse in Charlesbourg at the time. The house was restored to its original state in 1988 and is used as a historic interpretation centre.
Constructed circa 1740, the Charlesbourg seigneurial mill is one of three mills built by the Jesuits on their seigneurial estates. Restored in 1991 as a part of the Charlesbourg historical area, the Jesuit mill is one of the last such structures in a modern urban environment. Guided tours of the mill and Trait-Carré are available year-round, by reservation only.
