Located in the Old Chateau-Richer Convent, a historical and archaeological site, this interpretive centre offers permanent and temporary exhibits, a reconstructed school room, a children’s discovery area and interactive programming.
The first commercial flour mill in North America, this operational water mill was built in 1695. Interpreters in period costume offer guided tours of the mill and an interactive exhibit. The tour concludes with a wine and fruit liquer tasting session on the terrace, accompanied by crepes made from the mill's flour. The mill actively produces wheat and buckwheat flour, which can be purchased onsite.
