From a height of 83 metres (272 feet), which is one and a half times higher than Niagara Falls, 35,000 litres of water cascade down the Chute-Montmorency (Montmorency Falls) each second. A cablecar system, bridges, belvederes and hiking/cycling/snowshoeing trails have been installed to allow visitors to see the falls from different angles.
