From a height of 83 metres (272 feet), which is one and a half times higher than Niagara Falls, 35,000 litres of water cascade down the Chute-Montmorency (Montmorency Falls) each second. A cablecar system, bridges, belvederes and hiking/cycling/snowshoeing trails have been installed to allow visitors to see the falls from different angles. At the top of the cablecar line, the Manoir Montmorency offers fine dining, gift shops and meeting facilities. In winter, ice climbing and tobogganing are popular. The falls are located between Beauport and Boischatel. Address: 2490, avenue Royale Beauport QC G1C 1S1
