Discover more than 3,500 specimens representing 300 species: mammals, fish, invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles. In the 16-hectare outdoor park, see marine mammals including polar bears, walrus and several seal species. In addition to the outdoor park, the main pavilion is home to over 3500 fish specimens. Fresh and salt water galleries lead visitors from the Laurentian Plateau to the open waters of the North Atlantic. After touring the research laboratory and learning about marine invertebrates, visitors are led through the sub-Arctic Pacific Ocean display. An acrylic tunnel takes visitors to the heart of the attraction where they are surrounded by 350,000 litres of water and have an exciting close-up view of more than 650 specimens.
